      roses in 2 colors as she joins her

      delighted groom before their rose

      draped wedding arch.

        Bride's Bouquet will have a

      dozen roses in each color choice

      with a small bouquet for

      tossing attached

        Bride's Maids will carry

      similar rose bouquets.

        Rose Wreath to crown the bride

      made on request.

        Corsage or Boutineer in both

      rose colors will be made for

      the bride and groom and every guest.

        DATE AND TIME

            Only one marriage celebration

               will be booked for each of the

               weekends during the spring

               mountain garden wedding

               season.

        LOCATION AND ACCESS

           Mountain garden located 7 miles

             east of BONNERS FERRY ID

             which is about 30 miles

             north of SANDPOINT ID

           Gardens reached after a scenic

              drive on county roads and

              a level 1/2 mile private road

           Convenient Parking provided

 

        ROCKERY FLOWER GARDENS

              Glacier rolled quartz, granite, and 

           composition rock, with blocks of 

           red shale from folded inland seas,

           form the walls for beds of pernniel

           flowers and herbs, prolific bulbs, 

           and sweet smelling shrubs.

              May begins with daffodils and tulups,

           followed by crown imperials and grape,

           Easter, and woodland hycents.

           Dwarf iris, lilacs, johnny-jump-ups,

           and fruit trees bloom all month.

               June features columbine, tall iris, 

           and peonies early in the month with

           self seeding  poppies and love-in-a-mist

           and clusters of fragrant roses 

           blooming later.

              New growth brightens lavenders, thymes,

           sages, hen and chicks, creeping sedums,

           and other evergreens during the wedding

           season.  Northern grass and meadow 

           flowers carpet between beds in this

           mosac garden which is shown during 

           spring in the photo gallery.

              Large pieces of river driftwood have been

           erected throughout the gardens to 

           discourage munching by

           the moose and her calf in winter,

           a bull elk during the summer,

           and herds of deer all year.

               New fall pictures feature 

           bridal couple gifts displayed among

           these driftwood sculptures.  Garden

           pictures of flower beds blooming in 

           in the spring are followed by fall views

        MOUNTAIN VIEWS

           This flower garden is ringed

             by the forested foothills of 

            3 circling mountain ranges.

           Clifty and Black Mountains

             rise south of the gardens.

           Katka Mtn. and its foothills

             start southeast and flow north

             to where the Kootenai River

             divides the Percell Mtn. Range.

           The Cabinet Mtn. Range

             is visible southeast of

             the rock gardens.

           The majestic Selkerk Mtn.

             Range stretches across

             the whole western horizon

             filling sunsets as the sun

             travels its length twice a year.
